Sulla scrivania - On my desk

I pomeriggi ultimamente sono piuttosto pieni. A dire il vero anche le serate: tra spettacoli a teatro, saggi di ginnastica artistica, pizza di classe e incontri tra noi genitori dell'ultimo anno delle elementari; i giorni di giugno corrono veloci e in men che si dica siamo già giunti alla fine della scuola. Croce e delizia di noi genitori.

In queste ultime settimane ho messo alla prova un gruppo di 20 ragazzini scatenati di una quinta elementare composta da etnie diverse. Ho dato loro una pagina intestata con il loro nome e preparato alcuni stickers.

FOR MY ENGLISH FRIENDS:

The afternoons are pretty full lately. Actually, even the evening: we have shows at the theater, essays gymnastics, pizza class and meetings between parents of the students. Days in June run faster and in less time than you say we are already at the end of the school. Mixed blessing for us parents.
In these last weeks I challenged a class of fifth grade. A group of 20 kids let loose, from different cultures. I gave them a headed page with their name and prepared some stickers.

Dovevano personalizzare la pagina con disegni, pensieri, foto, una pagina dedicata al primo anno delle elementari e l'altra dedicata a questo ultimo anno.

Non potete immaginare cosa ne è venuto fuori! Se c'è una cosa che mi piace quando si lavora con i bambini è la grande soddisfazione che ti danno, le idee che escono fuori dalle loro testoline e il fattore creatività davvero notevole.

Ognuno ha personalizzato la pagina come più preferiva e ne è venuto fuori che ogni pagina rispecchiava la personalità di ogni singolo bambino. Pur non conoscendoli e osservando il lavoro che avevano fatto ho potuto intuire chi era più o meno estroverso, chi più coccolone e chi di brevi parole ha semplicemente incollato la foto al centro pagina, lasciando spazi bianchi. La cosa interessante era vedere anche le pagine di chi proveniva da culture diverse. Una ragazzina indiana ha interamente riempito le pagine con disegni dai colori accesi e pensieri profondi.

Abbiamo rilegato l'album e regaleranno questo pensiero alla loro maestra.

Se vi state chiedendo come ho realizzato gli adesivi, ecco alcune immagini che riassumono in breve il mio lavoro. (il lavoro più grande l'hanno fatto i piccoli protagonisti di questa avventura)  :)

They had to customize the page with pictures, thoughts, photos, a page dedicated to the first grade of elementary school and the other dedicated to the last year.
You can not imagine what it came out! If there's one thing I like when i work with children is the great satisfaction that I have and so much creativity that comes out.
Everyone has customized the page as the most preferred. Each page reflected the personality of each individual child. Although I had never seen them before, and looking at the work they had done I could guess who was more or less extroverted, some more cuddly than others and who is quiet simply has glued the photo to the center of the page, leaving blank spaces. The interesting thing was to see the pages of those who came from different cultures. A little Indian girl has completely filled the pages with designs in bright colors and deep thoughts. Her page was fabulous!
We bound the album and the kids will give it to their teacher.
